Abstrax has announced USDA Organic Certified, solventless, live hemp-derived terpenes (HDTs). Through an exclusive partnership with Allenbrooke Farms, a multi-generational farm in Spring Hill, Tennessee, Abstrax is pursuing the most authentic hemp terpenes; unadulterated, single-source, and crafted for superior flavor and aroma.
These HDTs are extracted from second-generation plants, a significant attribute as successive generations of hemp plants become increasingly diverse from an aroma chemistry standpoint. Allenbrooke's plants are specifically bred for their rich, complex flavor and aroma as opposed to industrial or fiber-focused biomass. Through dry farming techniques, where no irrigation is used and plants rely solely on natural climate factors like humidity, these hemp crops experience a beneficial stress response, increasing oil production and delivering some of the most potent and aromatic terpene profiles ever captured.
"This shift to organic hemp marks a significant milestone for Abstrax. It is an upgrade that not only sets the company apart in a competitive market but also enables brands that use hemp-derived terpenes to offer their customers products that align with their increasing demand for trustworthy, organic options," said Kirk J. Azevedo, D.C., Team Leader of Genetics & Cultivation at Abstrax.
"We believe that the future of hemp products lies in sustainability, transparency, and purity," said Kevin Koby, CEO of Abstrax. "By shifting to exclusively organic hemp, we are not only giving our customers the highest quality aromatics but also offering our partners an opportunity to tap into a growing market demand for organic, functional hemp products."
