US (MN): Business steady in Moorehead two days after first dispensary opens

Two days after the official opening of the Waabigwan Mashkiki marijuana dispensary in Moorhead, customers are steadily flocking to the store to buy recreational marijuana. Customers can buy marijuana flower in either jars or bags, or they can by buy it pre-rolled and ready to smoke.

The marijuana is grown on the White Earth Reservation at their 45,000-square-foot cultivation and processing center. On Monday, customers were seen waiting patiently outside until they were let into the store. Only a few customers are allowed inside at one time.

The dispensary was able to open in Moorhead thanks to the signing of a cannabis regulatory compact with the State of Minnesota.
