US (NY): State recalls cannabis products over contamination concerns

The New York State Office of Cannabis Management has issued a recall for several adult-use cannabis products produced by IndoGrow LLC. These products, sold through licensed dispensaries across the state, were found to contain unallowable pesticides, posing a potential risk to public health and safety.

The products were initially quarantined due to invalid testing by a former laboratory. A subsequent re-test revealed the presence of pesticides.

Dispensaries and distributors have been instructed to halt the sale and distribution of the affected products immediately. The products may also be marketed under names such as Indi, Grow by Indi, Our Creation, and Grow with Us.

The Office of Cannabis Management emphasized that this recall is a precautionary measure, and no adverse effects have been reported from the consumption of these products. Consumers who purchased the recalled items can return them to the dispensary, even if opened.
