US: New partnership to see Z•LED brought to American growers

Terphogz™ has partnered with Swiss horticultural lighting innovator Future of Grow (F.O.G.) to release "Z•LED", a limited-edition LED grow light for elite cannabis cultivators. The companies will debut the technology this week at Mary Jane - Berlin in Booths D18/D19, Hall 21A.

F.O.G has spent nearly a decade developing high-performance LED systems in collaboration with major chip manufacturers and European agricultural universities.

According to the team, the technology behind Z•LED has demonstrated measurable gains in both potency and purity: side-by-side cultivation trials have shown 33% increases in THC and 30% higher terpene output. In collaboration with the Swiss School of Agricultural Engineering, F.O.G has developed advanced UVB technologies that deliver a precise dose — achieving up to 90% healthier plants without powdery mildew, comparable to the results of Armicarb floral treatments. (Kientega, 2023). These results are made possible by a balanced full-spectrum light that includes targeted UVA and UVB wavelengths known to stimulate secondary metabolite production and improve plant immune response.

"At Terphogz, we've always been about pushing boundaries; from genetics to branding," said Green R. Fieldz, co-founder of Terphogz. "Partnering with F.O.G allows us to bring that same innovation to lighting, giving growers the tools to maximize the potential of our strains."

"It's not about making light that looks good on paper. It's about unlocking genetic intent," said Fabrizio, founder of Future of Grow. "Every spectrum we develop has a purpose. What we've seen is that under our lights, cultivars perform in ways growers have never experienced—richer aroma, stronger resin, and higher consistency. That's what sets this technology apart."
