Head of Production and Quality, Tyler Smith, who led the application process, highlights the benefits of gaining accreditation.

"The business always strives for quality products and continual improvement, and the ISO 9001 covers all of that."

"By having a quality management system that covers every area of the business, it means every area of the business follows the processes and procedures, continually improves them, and that in turn benefits the customer".

"The good thing about ISO 9001 is that it focuses heavily on customer satisfaction, so by us being able to deliver repeatable quality machines, we can get feedback from customers, which proves that as well," he adds.

Zayndu's CEO, Ralph Weir, congratulates the team and discusses why it was an essential step for the business.

"The ISO 9001 is crucial to the company's growth, ensuring that we have control over our processes and that we know what we're doing.

"It shows that we're a trustworthy, reliable supplier that understands what we are doing in manufacturing and across the whole company. The accreditation covers everything from how we approach sales, right through to how we deliver systems," he adds.

"If you get those principles and that discipline in place, when you're a company who have a couple of dozen people, then so long as you maintain them as you scale, it becomes much easier to end up with a really effective company when you're 200-300 people".
