New production hall for Van der Waay

Van der Waay, a Dutch manufacturer of greenhouse roof maintenance systems, based in Hazerswoude-Dorp, has begun expanding its business premises. The start of construction was celebrated with the driving of the first pile by Natasja Koolmees, wife of director Marcel Koolmees, marking a new phase in the company's development. A new production hall with a mezzanine floor is being built to provide additional storage capacity and accommodate potential future growth in production.

This expansion is in response to the growing international demand for Van der Waay's greenhouse roof maintenance systems. More and more growers are recognizing the value of a comprehensive approach to roof maintenance for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of roof maintenance tasks.

The new production hall complements Van der Waay's already substantial facilities, which include a spacious office building and a large, well-equipped workshop and stockroom. The company's premises also include a demonstration greenhouse where clients can experience the machines in a real-life setting.
