US (FL): Curaleaf's Florida dispensary sold for $3.1M amid shifting market dynamics

A Curaleaf medical cannabis dispensary in Orlando's tourist corridor has been sold for $3.1 million, as reported by Orlando Business Journal. The 4,798-square-foot property at 6600 International Drive, formerly a Payless ShoeSource, was acquired by Curaleaf in 2023 after MedMen shuttered its location there during the pandemic. The buyer remains undisclosed.

The deal is part of a broader trend in Florida's medical cannabis landscape. As of July 4, the state had over 917,000 active patients and 725 approved dispensaries. Florida remains the largest medical-only cannabis state in the U.S., supporting more than 30,000 jobs according to Vangst's 2025 industry report.
