Brazil: Sao Paulo to host Cannabis Connection event

São Paulo will be the stage, on November 6, 2025, for the Cannabis Connection, an event that has already established itself as the main meeting point for the medical cannabis and hemp industry in Latin America. Held at the Amphitheater of Av. Juscelino Kubitschek, in Itaim Bibi, the event will bring together authorities, experts, market leaders, and industry professionals to discuss the future of cannabis in Brazil.

With the theme "The New Scenario of Cannabis and Hemp in Brazil: Advances, Challenges, and Opportunities", the program was designed to promote strategic debates, exchange of experiences, and high-level networking in an intimate environment.

Exclusive market data
One of the most anticipated moments will be the lecture by Filipe Campos, Leader of Market Insights at Close-Up International, who will present exclusive data on the Brazilian medical cannabis market.

An administrator from USP, with over 10 years of experience in market intelligence, Campos has closely followed the sector's evolution in Brazil and Latin America.

"The Cannabis Connection is an event of great relevance for the debate on crucial topics that permeate the entire CBD sector - from cultivation and manufacturing to patient access. In a Brazilian market with strong growth and enormous potential, high-level discussions led by experts and authorities on the subject are essential to provide clarifications and break paradigms based on data," said Filipe Campos.

According to Close-Up, the pharmaceutical market for medical cannabis in Brazil generated R$ 237.9 million in sales through pharmacies alone by March 2025, recording an annual growth of 41.2%. In units, the progress is even more significant, with over 52,000 doctors prescribing plant derivatives in the country.

Campos highlights that the market "has grown over 70% since it started, and in units, it has been more than doubling year after year. Today in Brazil, there are more than 50,000 doctors already prescribing this molecule," he said in an interview with Sechat.

Confirmed speakers will be announced in the near future.
