US: Shangri-La launches program to aid people affected by government shutdown

Shangri-La has launched its Neighbors Helping Neighbors" relief program—an immediate, nationwide initiative to support individuals and families financially affected by the ongoing government shutdown.

Beginning today, all Shangri-La dispensary locations across the country will offer a 45% discount to verified customers directly impacted by the shutdown. The program is designed to help ease financial strain and maintain access to wellness products during this period of uncertainty.

"I know personally what it's like to sacrifice when my family struggled when I was young. It's a constant reminder to help those in need," said Nevil Patel, CEO & Founder of Shangri-La. "Our Neighbors Helping Neighbors program is about compassion, solidarity, and helping people stay grounded through tough times."

The "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" program is available immediately and will continue for the duration of the federal shutdown.
