Partners aim to improve air quality in cannabis facilities

AAF International announced a partnership with the Cannabis Research Center and Coalition (CRC), to support advanced research, science, and innovation within the rapidly evolving cannabis industry at MJBizCon 2025.

As cannabis cultivation scales to meet increasing global demand, growers face critical challenges to ensure consistent product quality, protect crop yields, while maintaining compliance with strict environmental and regulatory standards.

Advanced filtration plays a critical role in grow houses by helping manage air quality and other controlled environments. Through this partnership with CRC, AAF will support independent research that will help develop industry best practices, establish data-driven standards, and enhance the long-term sustainability of the industry.

"For over a century, AAF has been at the forefront of advanced air quality and filtration innovation," said Nikki Sasher, MS, MBA, Biological and Gas Phase Laboratory Manager, AAF International. "Our partnership with the Cannabis Research Center represents a shared commitment to advancing knowledge and helping this young and vital industry thrive through science, safety, and stewardship."

The CRC is dedicated to fostering academic and industry collaboration, providing a platform for research into cultivation, processing, and environmental management. With AAF's support, CRC will expand its capabilities to conduct studies, share findings, and provide resources that benefit growers, policymakers, and the broader cannabis community.

"Partnering with AAF is a significant milestone," said Allison Justice, PH.D, Founder & CEO, Cannabis Research Center. "This company's global leadership and expertise in air quality and advanced filtration can only strengthen our mission to deliver research that supports safe, effective, and sustainable cannabis cultivation practices worldwide."
