New Global Sales Director announced for Rock River Laboratory

Rock River Laboratory, an international provider of agricultural analysis, data management tools, and model development, today announced the hiring of David Williams as Global Sales Director to lead its expanded agronomy sales team. In this new role, Williams will integrate and guide representatives from recently acquired A&L Canada Laboratories of London, Ontario; Agri-Labs of Auburn, Ind.; and Frontier Labs of Clear Lake, Iowa, with the Watertown, Wis.-based Rock River Laboratory team.

"David's diverse and dedicated leadership experience precedes him, and we are fully confident in his ability to form cohesion throughout the expert teams we're bringing together," shares Zachery Meyer, Rock River Laboratory CEO. "Customer service remains a top priority for our organization, and David's work will ensure the commitment to client success while bolstering the value our team members bring to customer challenges and opportunities."

Williams attended Southern Illinois University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, Food, and Nutrition, specializing in livestock production, and a Master of Science degree focusing on ruminant nutrition. His experience includes nearly a decade in sales management and production supervisory roles, most recently with Land O'Lakes – Purina Animal Nutrition. Prior to joining Purina, Williams managed a large cow-calf operation and served as an assistant farm manager at the university's beef and swine center, building on a production agriculture background that began on his family's farm in southern Illinois.

A decorated veteran infantryman, Williams has completed a combat deployment to Iraq, served on the Commanding General's Mounted Color Guard out of Fort Riley, and continues his service as a chaplain with the Illinois Army National Guard.
