US (OK): License suspended after OMMA finds products not reported to authorities

The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) has issued an emergency order suspending the operations of Bud Guys LLP (DAAA-X7XP-Q2J9), effective immediately. The suspension follows an investigation that found products sold by the dispensary posed an immediate threat to public health and safety. Among the findings were 133 packages of medical marijuana and marijuana products that were labeled by and received from an unlicensed processor.

In addition to this discovery, OMMA investigators identified and embargoed several pounds of medical marijuana and medical marijuana products on Wednesday, Jan. 21, that had not been reported in the state inventory tracking system. All OMMA-licensed businesses are required by law to use the state inventory tracking system to track the marijuana they grow, process, and sell. This system ensures that marijuana in the regulated marketplace is fully traceable from the time it is planted until it is sold in a dispensary.

The products subject to the administrative embargo are not safe for consumption. Because these products were not tagged in the state inventory tracking system, required testing cannot be confirmed. Patients who purchased these products should dispose of them and contact a physician if they experience any adverse health effects. Patients may also report medical events through OMMA's Health Impact Form.

The embargoed products include multiple flower strains labeled under OK Farms, including Granddaddy Purple, Strawberry Bubbles, Purple Afghani, Double Cup, Wedding Cake, Animal Mints, Gelato, Purple Kush, Papaya, White Truffle, and Cinderella, associated with license number PAAA-FQG6-QLJP. Additional flower products labeled under RX Harvest Botanicals include Banana Baby Runtz and Gelato Cake, as well as cured resin products Peanut Butter Breath and Gelato Cake, associated with license number PAAA-F0B4-WJQP. OMMA notes that OK Farms and RX Harvest Botanicals are not legal operators and that the listed license numbers were not issued by the agency.

OMMA will continue to take decisive action against illegal activity to ensure licensees operate in compliance with the law. As this and other investigations continue, the agency has stated it will keep the public informed of further developments.
