During the crop change, lifting tube rails is a physically demanding, recurring task. Replacing foil underneath the tube rail system requires two people and takes time and physical effort. With the new TubeRaiser, Metazet largely takes this heavy lifting out of workers' hands.

The request for a solution came directly from practice. Grower Rens Aarts was looking for a way to reduce the heavy lifting involved with tube rails and approached Metazet to think along with him. This led to the development of the TubeRaiser. The TubeRaiser is a lightweight tube rail lift that takes over lifting the tube rail, allowing a single employee to lift and secure it at the same time.
In addition to reducing physical strain, the TubeRaiser also saves time. Thanks to its low weight, the tool can be carried from the end of one row directly to the adjacent row. This eliminates the need to walk back through the row.

The TubeRaiser is new to the range and will be presented by Metazet for the first time at HortiContact trade fair in Gorinchem, the Netherlands. Visitors can see the tube rail lift in operation there and try it out themselves. Metazet can be found at stand no. E-38.
