Starting in March, a new Diploma in Industry and Cultivation of Cannabis Sativa L. will begin, a course organized by UTN Avellaneda, the Civil Association Agrupación Cannabicultora del Sur (ACS) and the Secretariat of Human Rights of the Municipality of Avellaneda in Argentina.
The training responds to the growing demand for specific training for professionals related to the careers of architecture, Engineering and technicians in the different industrial and agronomic areas, and provides knowledge with scientific, community and legal support to promote ethical and safe practices in this nascent industry, fostering the collective and transversal development of the productive sector.
From a perspective based on Human Rights, science and technology, the Diploma allows the acquisition of knowledge about the technical and agronomic aspects of the plant, facilitating the comprehensive understanding of each cultivation system, for the therapeutic and social uses of cannabis; and offers tools for the production, cultivation and preparation of products, in line with the current regulatory framework, promoting the articulation between the public and private sectors for the development of inclusive policies.
Classes will be held on Mondays from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or asynchronously, either virtually or in person, and will last for one year. For more information and to register, click here.
