ICBC returns to Berlin in April

Cannabis policy modernization efforts are spreading across Europe at an increasing rate, with Germany continuing to serve as the continental cannabis policy and industry leader. As Germany's legal industry and other European markets continue to expand, the International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC) remains at the heart of it all.

ICBC is once again bringing Europe's largest and longest-running cannabis B2B event to Berlin on April 13th-15th, 2026. ICBC Berlin 2026 will be held at Germany's largest conference and entertainment center, the iconic Estrel Berlin Hotel. The schedule for ICBC Berlin 2026 will be released soon and is sure to be packed with insightful and timely presentations from renowned experts in their respective fields.

Thousands of international cannabis buyers will be in attendance at ICBC Berlin this year. In addition to licensed cannabis buyers, 90% of the world's largest licensed producers (LPs) and nearly all European and international wholesalers and distributors will be present. The legal international cannabis industry has never witnessed a gathering of this magnitude and caliber.

Cannabis policy & market momentum
The medical cannabis industry in Germany continues to be the biggest winner of the enactment of the CanG law, thanks to the removal of cannabis from Germany's Narcotics List. Between the first quarter of 2024 and the third quarter of 2025, imports of medical cannabis products to Germany have surged. Germany's legal medical cannabis industry imported nearly 57 tonnes of cannabis in just Q3 2025 alone.

Ancillary sectors of Germany's emerging cannabis industry continue to benefit from the nation's historic 2024 CanG law, which permits adults to cultivate, possess, and consume personal amounts of cannabis. Companies that provide products and services focusing on home cultivation and consumption are experiencing tremendous growth in Germany.

Germany's cannabis industry is continuing its impressive growth, including in the adult-use cannabis cultivation association sector. As of December 2025, local regulatory authorities in Germany had approved 368 adult-use cultivation associations. Hundreds more cultivation association applications are being processed across Germany.

ICBC Berlin has added a wide range of sponsorship opportunities, and the ICBC team is here to support exhibitors throughout their industry journey.

In addition to placing company branding in front of attendees and providing space on the expo floor, ICBC has created an exhibitor portal on the event's official app. Exhibitors can customize their profiles on the app portal and gain extra visibility throughout the conference. The expo floor is nearly sold out, and companies are encouraged to lock in their spots as soon as possible.

What's new in 2026
ICBC is bringing qualified buyers to the show, giving visitors the opportunity to close strong deals and connect directly with key decision-makers.

Following last year's success, ICBC is once again offering free tickets to all German cannabis pharmacies, helping bring the medical community together. Free tickets are also available to all German-licensed cultivation associations in recognition of the vital role they play in Germany's industry model. In addition, ICBC is providing free tickets to grow shops across Europe to ensure the cultivation community is fully represented.

Other new features include the ICBC Network Atrium, a central hub designed for meetings and connections. The Grow and Cultivation Pavilion will host cultivation leaders from around the world. Attendees can also take part in the Treasure Hunt Game for a chance to win prizes while exploring the expo. The VIP Reception, held the evening before the conference on April 13th, offers an opportunity to meet key decision-makers ahead of the main event.

Continuing its focus on connection, ICBC will host the Exclusive Pharmacy Meet-Up, providing direct access to dispensaries, pharmacies, and clinics. The Medical Pharma Zone will bring together medical professionals from across the global industry. The Speed Networking Area is designed to help participants make meaningful connections efficiently. Lounges located throughout the expo will offer space to network over food and drinks, while the Outdoor Consumption Lounge will provide a unique open-air setting for socializing and building relationships.
