US: Cannabis retailers gather for NYCRA industry event

Licensed cannabis retailers and brands will convene March 13 at The Chocolate Factory in Brooklyn for the New York Cannabis Retail Association's fourth annual industry event, aimed at connecting operators in the state's emerging adult-use market.

The gathering runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is projected to draw more than 1,500 attendees, up from roughly 1,200 last year, according to High Times. Organizers say the event is curated for licensed retailers, buyers and brand founders navigating regulatory hurdles and tight margins.

"For me, this is more than just an event, it's where business gets done," NYCRA President Britni Tantalo told High Times. "This isn't a crowded trade show with 80-90 brands fighting for attention."
