The CTA has announced that TCM Agricol has joined as its first member from Morocco, marking a milestone in the Association's expanding international community.
TCM Agricol is a Moroccan, family founded cannabis cultivation company rooted in generations of agricultural expertise within the Kingdom's historic cannabis growing regions. While cultivation knowledge has existed for decades through ancestral practices preserved by local families, the company formally emerged in 2023 following Morocco's legalisation of medical and industrial cannabis, a landmark reform that opened the door to regulated cultivation and export.
From heritage to modern enterprise
The company was established when founders Issam Kidari (pictured right), Houssam Boujid, and Ismail
© TCM Agricol Hajjami joined forces to transform longstanding agricultural traditions into a structured, fully compliant enterprise capable of competing internationally. Their vision centred on uniting the production capacities of local landowners, including their own families, to make Moroccan cannabis exportable for legitimate uses in health, industry, and cosmetics.
Each founder brings complementary expertise that strengthens the company's strategic foundation:
Issam Kidari leads technological development, digital infrastructure, and marketing strategy, ensuring modernisation aligns with international market expectations.
Houssam Boujid oversees communication, data analysis, and public relations, shaping institutional engagement and market intelligence.
Ismail Hajjami directs finance and procurement, building sustainable financial structures and reliable international supply chains.
From its inception, TCM Agricol undertook the rigorous process of aligning cultivation, post harvest handling, and quality management systems with the highest global standards. The company operates fully within Moroccan regulations and international compliance frameworks, with facilities certified under both GACP and EU-GMP standards.
Specialising in premium cannabis flower and resin, TCM Agricol combines traditional agricultural mastery with modern scientific practices. The company now holds one of the largest inventories within Morocco's legal cannabis sector and is positioned as a reliable export partner for international markets.
Morocco itself has a long history of cannabis cultivation and in 2021 adopted legislation allowing regulated production for medical, cosmetic, and industrial uses, aiming to integrate traditional farmers into legal markets and boost exports.
