Hanson residents are weighing in on a proposed cannabis cultivation facility in town. The owners of Impressed, LLC met with the community for an outreach meeting at the library.
The main concerns include odor from the site, security, and water use. Ralph Greenberg, one of the owners, said the feedback is integral to their operation.
“I think more than anything, being a good neighbor is job one, but corporate citizenship is something that we really look forward to helping out with the community,” said Greenberg. “We all know it’s a profitable business. We all know it takes time to be profitable. In the meantime, we just want to make sure that what we’re doing with the community falls into what they’re looking at us as a company to do the right thing.”
He says if needed, they’ll have their own water supply brought in by trucks, and that the odor will be contained through ventilation systems. A security plan was submitted to the police department.
