US (CA): Former Barclays banker Roger Jenkins abandons dreams of cannabis ‘green rush’ after cannabis farm is sold

Former Barclays banker Roger Jenkins has abandoned his dreams of joining the California “green rush” after the cannabis farm he invested in was sold.

A cannabis plantation backed by the 64-year-old multi-millionaire has been bought by an unknown investor, City sources said.

Mr. Jenkins, who lives near Malibu, invested in the venture in 2016, just as it was made legal for California voters aged over 21 to grow, possess and use limited quantities of cannabis.
