Paul Boers Greenhouse Manufacturing welcomes Richard van de Waart to its sales team.
In July 2019, Richard joined the sales team as technical sales specialist. Richard will be working closely with the other members of the sales team serving customers throughout Canada.
Born in the Netherlands, Richard has more than 30 years of hands-on agricultural experience, prior to joining the team in Canada. He has been active in the horticultural field in the Netherlands and Eastern Europe, where he spent the last two years with a Dutch turn-key greenhouse manufacturer.
As a former grower, Richard gained a lot of practical experience building his own farm, growing strawberries, melons, pumpkins and cabbage in protected areas like glasshouses, greenhouses and tunnels, but also in open fields.
Richard states: "I am confident that my experience will serve to strengthen the quality services provided by Paul Boers in the benefit of both the company and its customers. Paul Boers Manufacturing felt like home from the ‘get-go’ and I am excited about my future with the company."
