US (WV): MMJ permit application to be accepted starting from Dec. 19

Permit applications for medical cannabis growers, processors, dispensaries and laboratories in West Virginia will be accepted beginning Thursday, Dec. 19, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources’ Bureau for Public Health announced Tuesday.

Only online applications to the agency’s Office of Medical Cannabis will be accepted, according to a news release from the human resources department.
 
A link to the web-based application will be available at www.medcanwv.org starting Dec. 19 at 3 p.m. The application period, which will be open for 60 days, ends Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 3 p.m.
