“This edition of Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) 4.0 will focus on the current evolution of the indoor farming industry to explore how policy is developing with its integration into the sector, how we are helping to drive the circular economy forward, integration into traditional food systems,” says Jonathan Martin, Director at Tech 4.0.
The CEA 4.0 event is coming up again and will take place on Friday 6 May 2022 virtually, which is conference day 1. The second CEA 4.0 conference day will take place, virtually, on Friday 20 May 2022.
The event will not only focus on exploring integration into the sector, but also on seeds and their development, TCEA, grow light solutions, resource efficiencies, automation, energy usage and requirements, innovations in research and technologies, and robotics and AI.
Accelerating and advancing efficiency
CEA 4.0’s program has evolved from last year to be more focused on the marketplaces' needs as well as an increase in the number of presentations due to the demand from companies wanting to present their innovative work, advancements and solutions. According to Jonathan, the agenda for 2022 is stronger and more relevant for the industry than last year.
The event is focusing on accelerating the development, advancement and efficiency of indoor farming. CEA 4.0 provides the platform for every involved stakeholder in the industry to be part of the discussion on the evolution of the marketplace. Attendees will be able to learn and understand the advancements in the development, innovation, technology and requirements of cultivation solutions within indoor farming. Whilst being able to network with any attendee they wish to engage with.
The perks of digital
“By running the event digitally it helps to ensure that it remains inclusive, not exclusive for every involved stakeholder in the industry to attend and meet together with the marketplace. Doing so while discussing advancements and future requirements within the industry. It provides an effective opportunity for people and companies to be part of the conversations and discussions,” Jonathan affirms.
Make use of all options
“We have up to 58 unique presentations over the two days of the event but don't worry if presentations of interest overlap and are scheduled for the same time because each attendee will be provided access to the presentation recordings within 24 hours after the end of each day.”
Take advantage of all the functions the event platforms provide, especially the networking element with the ability to view and meet with other attendees. As well as, using the one on one meeting function effectively.
The current prices to attend are between £4.99 - £9.99. Each attendee will have the below access and functions for the event;
- Full conference and event access provided for the entire event
