ReduSystems announces that they have improved their product AntiReflect. Since its introduction, the R&D department has worked hard to further improve the formula of AntiReflect. Improvements involve better wear resistance and a lower cost price. Both developments will be directly noticeable for growers.
AntiReflect improves the light incidence. The application of this coating on the outside of the greenhouse cover ensures that the reflection from the glass is reduced. No matter the type of glass, there is always a small part that cannot enter the greenhouse. AntiReflect improves the light incidence by 2.5 to 3%. This directly influences the need for energy because growers notice that the greenhouse heats up more quickly in the morning, saving heating costs.
In addition to AntiReflect, ReduSystems offers various products that improve the light incidence in greenhouses. AntiCondens transforms the condensed water droplets into a water film, which improves the amount of light in glass greenhouses by 5% and up to 15% in plastic greenhouses.
Properly cleaning the glass on both the outside and inside also helps with getting the most light, and therefore energy, into your greenhouse. GS-4 removes all contamination without the need to brush. Seeing contamination on the glass means having already lost about 10% in light incidence. Regularly cleaning the glass with GS-4, therefore, also contributes to energy savings.
Lastly, there is PipePaint, which is the only water-soluble paint for heating pipes. Next to protecting the heating pipes against rust and improving the reflection of light by 50%, it also improves the heat transfer by as much as 10%. With the ReduSystems PipePaint, there is no need to heat the heating pipes for 48 hours to 80°C to remove any harmful fumes.
The current energy crisis forces growers to be more creative and thoughtful in their craft. Combining different ReduSystems products help growers save energy by optimizing the light incidence and heat transmission inside their greenhouse.
