Cannabis project manager joins urban-gro’s leadership team

urban-gro announced the appointment of Bruys Henderson to the role of Senior Business and Project Development Manager.

Henderson joins urban-gro with a wealth of cannabis industry experience, architectural and construction knowledge, and an eye for innovative design. As Senior Business and Project Development Manager, Henderson will focus on marketing and business development, programming, and project planning to facilitate the execution of new buildings and renovations of CEA facilities. He will also be responsible for identifying new clients, maintaining key relationships, determining client branding and aesthetics, and coordinating activities of the urban-gro design team.

“Our team is thrilled to welcome such a seasoned professional into the urban-gro community,” said Bradley Nattrass, Chairman, and CEO of urban-gro. “Bruys has proven his skill throughout his ten years in the cannabis industry, gleaning valuable insight on the challenges of the evolving landscape and helping clients find success with thoughtful design solutions. He will be a key asset to the leadership team as urban-gro makes its mark on the commercial cannabis sector.”

“Helping others achieve success in the complex, rewarding cannabis space has long been the driving force behind my work,” said Henderson. “With this in mind, I am eager to begin my next chapter with urban-gro and its incredible team, constructing the very foundation of the cannabis industry with each unique client. I look forward to hitting the ground running and kicking off some exciting projects with my new colleagues.”

Prior to urban-gro, Henderson served as an Operations and Maintenance Manager for a Colorado cannabis company, where he leveraged his expertise in compliance, design, and construction to help alleviate issues faced by operators. Throughout his career, he has worked on over 300 CEA projects throughout the United States and Canada. Henderson knows the value of a top-tier design team in fostering success for clients and has the skill set to make that success a reality.
