22Red partners with Lonestar Select for cannabis cultivation in Arizona

22Red, the cannabis-on-the-menu lifestyle brand founded by System of a Down’s Shavo Odadjian, is proud to announce that it has partnered with Lonestar Select for its Arizona cultivation and genetics. The brand entered the Arizona market in 2020 and immediately found a dedicated following for their curated premium indoor-grown flower, pre-rolls, and concentrates. As its presence grew to more than 60 dispensaries in the state, the brand wanted to expand its cultivation capabilities and found an ideal partner in Lonestar Select.

“Things have exploded for us in Arizona, and we knew we had to work with a grower to meet that demand,” Odadjian said. “After a long and careful look at what Lonestar Select has done in their facility, we felt great to work with them and that their technology-driven growth allowed them to experience our quality bar.”

Lonestar Select has been growing cannabis since 2011, when the state was only medicinal. Unlike many other Arizona grow facilities, Lonestar Select was built from the ground up to grow cannabis. Her team had a passion for the plant long before it officially opened its doors, and have sought to use industry-leading technology to create exceptional strains.

Lonestar Select Cultivation Manager Spencer Keim said: “I love the science behind it. In all my years of growing cannabis commercially, I have never stopped learning. There are always new and improved methods of cultivation, and I feel like we’ve only just scratched the surface.” With the facility beginning in the purely medical era, Lonestar Select is going to extreme lengths to prevent contamination from entering their product compromise – to ensure the end result is both spectacular and safe for users.
