Jan Derck van Karnebeek has been appointed as the new CEO of Royal FrieslandCampina N.V. He is moving from the horticultural group GreenV, where he has been working since September 1, 2022. Van Karnebeek will join the dairy cooperative as of June 1, 2023.
The current CEO of GreenV spent almost his entire career at Heineken N.V. in commercial, marketing, and general management positions. His career at Heineken included jobs in the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, and Austria and culminated, from 2015 to 2021, as Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Executive Team at the brewer's international headquarters in Amsterdam.
GreenV recently appointed Anneke van de Geijn as CCO and announced the acquisition of Voshol. Who the new CEO will be, has yet to be announced.
