The study, released Monday, revealed Ohio is among the cheapest states for medical cannabis. Ohio ranks sixth in the country for low medical cannabis prices. There are 133 medical cannabis dispensaries in the state, according to the Ohio Medical Marijuana Control Program.

In the U.S., 38 states, three territories, and the District of Columbia allow the medical use of cannabis, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures. New York has the most expensive average price of medicinal cannabis at $23.17 per gram. The national average is $13.76 per gram.
