Lumatek Zeus 3.1

"The most exciting part of our new light is the increased PPFD"

Lumatek introduces growers to its latest development in LED horticultural lighting: the Zeus 600W PRO 3.1. "The light is powerful enough to light up Olympus," the company says.

Over the past 3 years, Lumatek has been working hard to bring growers the lights they deserve. "Never standing still, we are constantly striving to improve our lights to bring
growers bigger and better solutions for their horticultural needs. The Zeus 600W PRO 3.1 boasts an efficacy of 3.1 µmol/J," the team explains.

What does this mean for growers?
Efficacy is how many photons are emitted by the light per watt of energy input, Lumatek explains. "Simply put, it is how effectively a light can convert electric energy into light that can be absorbed by the plant and used by photosynthesis. As plant growth is determined by the number of photons in the light that the plant is receiving, not how powerful the light is, the efficacy of a grower's light is directly influential to their yield."

"The higher the efficacy of the light, the higher the usable photons to promote easy grows and higher yields with the same power," the team continues. "We are dedicated to helping growers grow and bringing them the best possible quality horticulture fixtures during unprecedented times."

Producing lights for 20 years
Lumatek says that with the advances in LED technology and fixture performance that have been developed over the past five years, high-quality LED lighting continues to offer growers significant ROI by producing better and higher yields as well as healthier crops.

"The most exciting part of our new 3.1 is the increased PPFD, which has increased the number of usable photons emitted by the light to the grow area by an incredible 10% when compared to our previous model," Lumatek says. "The 3.1 covers a fantastic 1.5 x 1.5 meters, providing the perfect light for all grow stages of the plant and ensuring an excellent light uniformity."
