William Stoufer has been appointed as President of Balanced Health Botanicals ("BHB"), effective immediately. Mr. Stoufer will report directly to Michael DeGiglio, President and Chief Executive Officer of Village Farms.
"Bill has been a key member of BHB senior leadership, responsible for establishing strong business processes with a focus on customer excellence, which contributed positive adjusted EBITDA and cash flow to Village Farms since the acquisition," said Michael DeGiglio, President and Chief Executive Officer, Village Farms. "He is a strategic, execution-focused, results-driven leader and I look forward to his ongoing contribution as we continue to strengthen BHB's position for the significant opportunity in the United States as the regulatory landscape evolves."
Mr. Stoufer joined BHB as Chief Operating Officer in 2019, bringing with him nearly 30 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods industries, primarily in food. His prior experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer of Ardent Mills and, during his 20-year tenure at ConAgra Brands, increasingly senior executive roles in sales, logistics, and operations, culminating in the role of President of ConAgra Mills.
The Company also announced that Chase Terwilliger has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of BHB to pursue an opportunity outside of the CBD/cannabis industry.
