"Since being established in 2019, we've experienced rapid growth. Situated in the serene town of Thorndale, Ontario, our facility embodies the perfect blend of technology and sustainable practices," says Jack Procop, Founder and CEO of ProGrow Farms. The company received its CUMCS, IMC-GAP, and GACP certificates in December. Now, the company is looking to increase its production. "We will soon be listed on Equivesto, a Canadian private equity dealer. We will be issuing more shares to raise funds for our expansion."
Meeting the demand
Jack says that the expansion is necessary to meet the growing demands of the company's overseas contracts. "Over time, we've secured several pivotal contracts. An important one is our long-term agreement with an Israeli group. This partnership, which runs until 2030, underscores our capacity to consistently deliver high-quality cannabis, with an initial output of 800 kg per year." And more is on the way. "We are talking with groups in Germany and collaborating with other companies in Canada."
Therefore, ProGrow Farms is dedicated to enhancing its production capabilities and exploring new markets both domestically and overseas. The company's future plans include expanding its operations area to vertical farming techniques later this year and updating to a central automation system to oversee the entire grow rooms from clone to finished product. "Our strategic use of technology, coupled with our deep industry knowledge, positions us to lead the way in the cannabis sector," Jack says.
