A Cape Cod couple lost their restaurant lease. Now they're delivering cannabis

Every morning beginning at 7 a.m., John Marcellino can be seen on Route 28 with an oversized Tribal Fire cannabis delivery service advertising sign in one hand — and a freshly rolled marijuana blunt in the other.

It's exciting, said Marcellino, to launch Tribal Fire—a commercial marijuana delivery service, Marcellino said.

It's the first business venture for Marcellino and his wife Marion since they lost the lease for their Falmouth restaurant, The Station Grill, in December 2023.

"We lost our restaurant but we gained a cannabis company," said John Marcellino, who is a member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. "We had to trust that beautiful things can happen even after what we went through with the EDIC."
