US (CT): A look inside a Bloomfield's social equity indoor facility

Fox61, based in Connecticut, visited Fine Fettle in Bloomfield, an indoor cannabis facility spanning over 46,000 square feet. According to the broadcast, the grower holds its license under Section 149, meaning they obtained their permit without participating in a lottery, as the business is located in a disproportionately impacted area.

Currently, 3,000 plants are growing at the facility. Kernard Ray, CEO of Fine Fettle Social Equity Licenses, states that this collaboration between Fine Fettle and its social equity partners allows the company to be vertically integrated. "As our footprint grows across the state, we're able to put our own products in our own retail storefronts and in all the others."

There are three rooms filled with plants, with the goal of eventually having six in total. The company expects the first harvest to be ready in March, with products becoming available in Bloomfield by April.
