Cannabis trials in the Netherlands will start in April. Three growers are active in the province of Groningen. Two are already in production, and the third is coming, saw RTV Noord which went to see Q-Farms in Veendam and Holigram in Nieuw Beerta. The third grower is Leli Holland.
In April, seven of the 10 admitted growers in the Experiment Closed Coffee Shop Chain are expected to be able to deliver. The project, popularly known as the cannabis trial, has so far been laborious. A recently published report evaluated the preparation phase, which included recruitment and selection of growers, commissioned by relevant ministries.
