Joost Sneller opens cannabis farm Q-farms

On Saturday, Joost Sneller (D66) officially opened Q-Farms, one of the licensed growers participating in the cannabis experiment. "Over the past few years, I've been in regular contact with these passionate entrepreneurs as they worked hard to overcome numerous challenges," he shared on LinkedIn. "The government hasn't exactly made it easy for those trying to make the cannabis experiment a success: endless BIBOB screenings, difficulties accessing bank accounts, complex licensing procedures, and unclear starting conditions — just to name a few obstacles. That made it all the more rewarding to see the professional and transparent operation now up and running in Veendam."
