Jason Talmage celebrated for dedication to the legal cannabis industry

Jason Talmage has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of the current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

After witnessing a friend become sick during his gap year, Mr. Talmage was driven to research ways in which to help him, which led to his current work as an award-winning cannabis cultivator. Drawing on years of professional experience in the field, he presently excels as president and director of cultivation for Higher Standard Consultants. Previously, Mr. Talmage worked as the director of cultivation for High Season, Almar Farms, Inc., and BMF Washington and as a grow master for Monterey Tilth.

During the early stages of his career, Mr. Talmage gained valuable expertise in similar positions for Northwest Cannabis Solutions and Higher Standard Cannabis Club. Throughout his career, he has achieved much, founding one of Washington's top medical production companies, managing four of the largest and most successful production facilities, and focusing on plant science, operations, and the business side of the industry. In light of his professional accomplishments, Mr. Talmage was awarded the High Times Cannabis Cup Medal for CBD flower at the 2019 Hempfest.

Though his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Talmage is most proud of winning the abovementioned award because 300,000 attended the event. While hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to the people fighting for legalization, especially in regard to medicine. Within the next five years, Mr. Talmage aims to help further legalize medical cannabis and work on integrating medical cannabis education into universities so that people can specialize in its use.

At MMJDaily, we talked with Jason multiple times. For instance, we discussed the job of a head grower as well as the job of a master grower. On top of that, we also talked about Fusarium wilt, nutrient deficiencies, and feminized seeds.
